Sex and Violence

Scarlet lips.
Sucked a cigarette.
This windy night.

A lit cigarette.
Found a home.
On a wet, tarred road.
This violent night.

Burning. Burning.
Ashes in the night.
O what a mess!
Unrest in rain.
Awake in November.

Sex and Violence.
The way we fuck.
The way we wound.

Sex and Violence.
Hand in hand.
Like the hag with her fag.

Sex and Violence.
The bitter that always coats.
A tongue tasting of smoke.

Sex and Violence.
Scalded fingers.
Flirting with fire.

Sex and Violence.
In love, so much in love again.
Lost, so very lost again.

Sex and Violence.
Never gonna leave you.
Even when it hurts you.

Sex and Violence.
A cigarette burning bright.
Fading yellow to white.

Sex and Violence.
Feel it. Feel it.
Who is gonna make you cry?

About Bhumika's Boudoir

I love to laugh, and end up being a part of high drama and stormy emotion even when I don't pursue it. Being creative, and communicating with people get me going. I enjoy all the good things in life especially those that are slightly risque, and apologise little, if ever, for all that I do. Literature is a passion and so is music.

Great Poem. Thought I will pimp my own and bask in your glory. This one is called Sax and Violins, and it’s not supposed to be cheeky.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    Bows making love on strings
A blow job on a reed mouth piece
    Sax and Violins

    When you get so soft
    With silkiness in your voice
    Long silent sighs yet audible
Those talks long into the nights
And music right for the mood
    Sax and Violins

    You say we fit perfect
    Yet talk of drifting apart
    Life is so bloody complex
    Like Schrodinger’s Cat.
Is it love or just lust?
Or is it lust and not love?

    You fight, and fight tears
    You’re angry and very mad
    I’m helpless and very sad
    I pray for forgiveness
    Nervously seek redemption
    Groping for words

    Silence and time are healers
Sound and fury die like embers
    I can see you smile
    The orchestra starts again
And the world is a lot better
    Sax and Violins
